In accordance with established procedures approved under date of August 22, 1996 by the Department of Navy, Office of Naval Research, the Georgia Institute of Technology provides tuition remission awards to graduate research assistants and graduate teaching assistants upon appointment, and direct charges the cost of such graduate tuition remission awards to benefiting sponsored projects. The amount of the tuition remission charge is established for each fiscal year based on approved tuition and fee rates for the fall term.
